Molly Goddard – Spring 2019
London Fashion Week
The Molly Goddard runway took place in Covent Garden in a fashionably decrepit concreted-walled venue, where guests were seated under structures that resembled market stalls with tarpaulin roofs.
… The show had an air of female empowerment, topped off by Adwoa Aboah, Molly Goddard and Edie Campbell walking down the runway together in an expression of female friendship.

The holiday vibes were rolling right from the start, with Edie Campbell opening the show in a pair of crisp black cotton short shorts — hardly what you’d expect from Goddard, who’s known for her frothy tulle confections. Still, the gingham housecoat that swung from Campbell’s shoulders bore all of the designer’s hallmarks — trimmed with frills and cross-stitched with Goddard’s initials, by far the cleverest reinvention of the monogram to have surfaced this season.
